Just in case you are totally perplexed by this title, It is me trying to be creative and failing… epicly. But today you will see what I wore for Thanksgiving and if you could not tell it is a vintage 60’s outfit. You have actually seen part of this outfit before, but this is when I actually wore it.
To go along with the 60’s outfit I decided to sport some 60’s inspired hair and makeup. It took a long time to do, I don’t know how they did this just about every day back then. I wore the cat eye liner, super defined crease and subdued nude lips with pride. Everyone at the party I went to thought it was great and I was and still am quite happy with what I did.
And here is the back of my semi updo semi beehive. I have no idea what else to call it.
In case you are wondering this dress and jacket were made in the British crown colony of Hong Kong, and are a beautiful thick gold brocade. They have really wide hems and are constructed beautifully. The shoes are also vintage but they are not from the 60’s. They were my mom’s from the 80’s.
My leg went Pop!
Bye Bye, I hope that you found this interesting like you would find a flying llama licking a wheel of brie cheese strange. Happy holidays or if you do not celebrate any, Happy Winter!
